mwcqHiruko o mwcgHirugo è una mwcwdivinità mwdasolare della mwdqmitologia giapponese, simile ad mwdgAmaterasu, ma molto meno famosa.

La fonte letteraria più antica del mweamito è il mweqmwegNihongi, un'opera di mwewstoria e mitologia mwfagiapponese risalente all'mwfqVIII secolo. Hiruko è descritto come figlio della coppia mwfgcosmogonica mwfwIzanami e mwgaIzanagi da cui viene abbandonato, subito dopo la mwgqnascita, per il suo aspetto mwggdeforme simile a una mwgwmedusa.

Alcuni mitografi successivi lo descrivono simile invece a una mwhqsanguisuga. Secondo la mwhgleggenda di Ebisu la figura di Hiruko e mwhwEbisu coincidono.
